From the field to your family table

Farm Fun offers a glimpse inside the agriculture industry

Have you ever wanted to try milking a cow? Ever wondered how grain growing in the field ends up in that loaf of bread on your table? How exactly does milk get turned into cheese?

For the answer to these and other burning agricultural questions, you'll want to take part in Farm Fun!

Farm Fun is a dynamic, interactive, hands-on agriculture program that offers school aged kids a chance to get in touch with their roots and learn more about Alberta's agriculture industry.

If we want to keep agriculture strong in this province, it is important that we teach our children to understand the connection between our farms and the food that sustains us.

At Farm Fun, interactive displays, demonstrations and other activities are presented by industry experts and volunteers to engage students and teach them about Alberta's agricultural roots.

The program is designed for school tours, but is also open to the general public.
Alberta Dairy Congress is sorry to announce that there will be no FARM FUN in 2013, due to a lack of funding.
